A seasoned hospitality professional and an awarded sommelier, I started my career at Taj Mahal Palace and tower, Mumbai as a Management Trainee. After graduating from Institute of Hotel Management Shimla, my quest to learn, grow and diversify has been the core driving force.
Along with many other certifications, the Level 3 in beverage studies from WSET, London has been the most challenging and rewarding certification, only a select few in India have been able to successfully complete it.
With “WSET Level 3” academic training in wines and spirits and exposure under world renowned Master sommeliers, my work portfolio at Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi was diversified from managing the much awarded restaurant Wasabi by Morimoto to being the Sommelier of the Taj Mahal Hotel.
As the Director of Beverages at JW Marriott, New Delhi my responsibilities included shaping their Beverages program and playing a global role as a member of Marriott’s Asia Pacific Beverage Advisory Board.
